Abstract:

To reduce the vibration and decrease noise of printing presses of high speed, with finite element method, modal analysis of the structure of a printing press has been conducted. To avoid resonance, the structure of the printing press has been improved. The units used in the finite element calculation, the processing method of the joints between parts and the method of establishing the machine model have been discussed. This method can be applied efficiently to designing various mechanical structure to reduce vibration and decrease noise.
