Abstract:

The spherical NH4FePO4 powders were synthesized by a controlled crystallization process using ammonium citrate as the complexing agent. Morphology and distribution of the spherical NH4FePO4 powders were observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The effects of the loading methods, reaction temperature, speed of dripping, agitating rates and reactant concentration on the appearance of NH4FePO4 powders were studied and the most efficient process for preparing spherical NH4FePO4 powders was determined.
