Abstract:
A novel bimodal mesoporous molecular sieve (BMMS) supported Co(III) complex with the nitrogen donor ligand porphrins was prepared at room temperature via grafting method. The resulted host/guest compounds were characterized by XRD, nitrogen adsorption and TG-DTA. The results indicated that structure of BMMS was retained, and cobalt-porphyrin was highly dispersed in the pore surface of the modified BMMS. In addition, TG-DTA data suggested that the stability of cobalt-porphyrin was also enhanced by the grafting method for BMMS. The catalytic behavior of the BMMS-supported Co(III) will be investigated by oxidation of cyclohexane and cyclohexene.
