Abstract:
With the gradual maturity of spaceX's space technology, private commercial space has developed rapidly and become a hot spot in the space field. The bottleneck that affects the development of private commercial space technology is the cost input and the backflow of funds. SpaceX proposed a novel solution is to reduce the cost of rocket launches by leasing its rocket carrying capacity and providing satellite launches to other companies or groups. For satellites already in orbit, however, there is no mature business model for making a profit. In this paper, a new model of satellite service is proposed, which takes satellite as a service to provide external services. A hybrid resource management framework is proposed to manage the basic hardware and unique hardware capabilities of satellites. Simulation results show that the framework can effectively improve the utilization rate of satellite resources and generate profits. © 2020 IEEE.
