Abstract:

We report the first high-birefringence hollow-core anti-resonant fiber with a pseudo-C4v symmetry. The resulted fiber shows a phase birefringence, polarization extinction ratio, and loss of 0.9 × 10-4, 25 dB, and 250 dB/km, respectively, at 1550 nm. © 2020 OSA.
