Abstract:
In order to solve the problem of measurement for the LTE (Leading and Trailing Edges) of ultra-thin blades, a new method for LTE measurement based on feature modeling is proposed in this study. The accurate coordinates of blade profile are collected using a high-precision laser probe based on conoscopic holography principle, and the fast and precise measurement of LTE is achieved based on feature modeling technology. The research results show that the method proposed in this study fully considers the geometric characteristics of blade profile and can effectively extract the geometric information of LTE by optimizing the number and location of sampling points. This method improves the accuracy and efficiency of LTE measurement significantly, which provides a new technical solution for measuring the LTE of aeroengine blades. © 2019 IEEE.
