Abstract:

This paper proposed a novel fractional-order Vicsek model (FOVM), which can effectively improve the convergence performance of the original Vicsek model. Numeral experiment results show that there is the optimal value of the fractional order of the FOVM with which the self-propelled particles can achieve the best convergence performance. © 2017 Technical Committee on Control Theory, CAA.
