Abstract:

A novel system, in which the evacuated solar collecting tube coupled with a parabolic trough was reformed to the adsorption bed, was developed and experimented with the ZSM-5 and SAPO-34 zeolite and water vapor as the working pair. With the circulating water cooling and the natural air cooling, the refrigeration performance of the system is analyzed. The results showed that the parabolic trough collector has high light-gathering efficiency, and it can quickly reach the desorption temperature. The temperature decline rate of the adsorption bed by circulating water cooling is significantly higher than that by the natural air cooling. On the other hand, the mass transfer performance of SAPO-34 is better than that of ZSM-5 zeolite.
