Abstract:

The series combination process of oxidation pond and constructed wetlands was studied on slightly polluted river water treatment of Xinkai River in Changchun city. Based on the study, the series of water treatment process could be used to treat slightly polluted river water, because of the effluent of sewage treatment plant and channel point-source pollution. The main indicators of treated water could achieve or exceed the surface water class IV standard. It can be used for agricultural irrigation, fisheries and wetlands complement; Constructed wetland system plays a main role in the series process, so it should be adopted preferentially in practical engineering applications; In the Spring, the quality of river water was so poor that treated result was bad, but it can improve operation effect by strengthening the oxidation pond aeration. © 2013 Taylor & Francis Group.
