Abstract:
Micro stereo vision based on a stereo light microscope is applied to three-dimensional reconstruction and scale measurement of micro parts. A vision model serves for connecting two image spaces and an object space, and is responsible for the calculation of object space coordinate from two image coordinate frames. When a vision model is given, two planes of image coordinate frames corresponding with planes of CCD image sensors may cause error of coordinate calculation in object space. The projection from two-dimensional image space to three-dimensional object space is described by a vision model in micro-stereo vision. In this paper, error correction for vision model caused by CCD image sensor rotation is studied. Based on a weak-disparity vision model, correction formulas are given, and position precision of correctional and non-correctional model is analyzed and compared. Experiment results indicate that 6% position precision is increased after CCD image sensor rotation is considered. © 2013 IEEE.
