Abstract:
To improve the safety of sewage recycle,The catalytic ozonation mechanism and oxidation kinetics of fulvic acid and nonylphenol ethoxylates (NP nEO) were studied using TiO2/AC/Iron as a catalyst of catalytic oxidation. The results show that: compared with the ozone oxidation alone, the removal of organisms in catalytic ozonation was higher, after the reaction 20min, the removal of COD in fulvic acid solution was more than 60%, and the number of UV254 was nearly 50% as well as the number of NPnEO was 99.65 %; the catalytic ozonation of NP nEO and fulvic acid were first order reactions;at the early stage of oxidation, the distribution of polymerization degree on NPnEO was still consistent with the Poisson distribution, As the reaction progressed, the NPnEO with small polymerization degree such as NP1EO and NP2EO started to accumulate. © 2011 IEEE.
