Abstract:
In order to analyze the perennial equilibrium and dynamic relationship on transport infrastructure investment and economic growth deeply, from the perspective of multi-factors symbiosis theory, this paper selects the annual data from 1978-2009, and uses Cointegration and Granger causal relationship. The results show that there is a long stable equilibrium relationship between transport infrastructure investment and economic growth. But Because of the interference of other economic factors, the elasticity of transport infrastructure investment is lower (0.1902). From Granger causality test, we can know that from1978-2009 year, economic growth always is Granger cause relationship of developing transport infrastructure. This relationship appears unidirectional between them. © 2011 IEEE.
