Abstract:

Automobile industrial wastewater contains high COD, which is complex and poor in biodegradability. Separated pre-treatment, coagulating sedimentation, biochemical treatment and advanced treatment were applied to treat Automobile industrial wastewater in this design. When pH value is in the range of nine to ten, it is the optimum condition to get rid of heavy metals. Three-stage-dephosphorizing technique was taken to remove phosphor. Activated sludge system has longer sludge age to remove the organic matter and the water from the sewage processing station can reach the standard of first discharge standard of comprehensive wastewater discharge standard (GB8978-96). The removal rate of COD is more than 40 percent. © 2011 IEEE.
