Abstract:
This paper presents a tele-healthcare framework and its implemented system for family and community use. The framework illustrated in this paper concludes the key elements that ubiquitous healthcare applications should involve, including the architecture, devices, data models and applications. Based on it, an applicable system is introduced including family health monitoring devices and a community healthcare kiosk. Any service provider can use this framework to develop their own telemedicine systems and services; home and community users can simply make their healthcare connected and managed. At the end of the paper, the implemented results of the system are shown. © 2011 IEEE.
