Abstract:
With the rapid development of information technology, we are experiencing the globalization of business processes and accompanying Information Systems (IS). The utilization and implementation of various IS substantially contributed to the feasibility of globalization. However, it is a great challenge to manage IS in a global environment, because managers have to deal with the differences of various countries. Based on literature study, we clarified the concept and contents of Internationalized Information Systems Management (IISM) and identified seven significant management issues for IISM, namely policy, legislation, economy, language, organization, technology and national culture. Subsequently, those management issues were analyzed in detail and the further research was recommended briefly.
