Abstract:

To establish a compression constitutive model of mixed fiber concrete, polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) fiber, polypropylene (PP) fiber and steel fiber were mixed into concrete at different ratios and subjected to compression test. By conducting comparative analysis of various constitutive models for hybrid fiber reinforced concrete (HFRC), the accuracy was derived and the method for determining the model parameters was established. The peak stress, peak strain and elastic modulus of different fiber ratio specimens were fitted and analyzed. Results show that under the condition of 2% mixed fiber volume, with the increase of the proportion of steel fiber, the strength of HFRC increases, the peak strain slightly decreases, and the elastic modulus is significantly improved in the test piece mixed with steel-PP hybrid fiber. In the test piece incorporating PVA-PP hybrid fiber, the proportion of PVA fiber increases, the peak stress and elastic modulus of the material are improved, and the peak strain is lowered. The expressions and experiments in this paper are in good agreement, and the segmented susceptible-infective-removal (SIR) model has the highest fitting accuracy. © 2019, Editorial Department of Journal of Beijing University of Technology.
