Abstract:
Three kinds of Cu/ZSM-5 molecular sieve catalysts with different copper sources (copper nitrate, copper acetate and copper sulfate) were prepared by rotary evaporation method. NH 3 selective catalytic reduction (NH 3 -SCR) reaction activity of Cu/ZSM-5 catalysts was investigated and physicochemical properties of the samples were characterized by XRD, N 2 adsorption-desorption, H 2 -TPR, XPS and NH 3 -TPD techniques. The results show that the different of copper source has a great influence on the medium and low temperature catalytic performance of Cu/ZSM-5 catalysts. The activity of the three Cu/ZSM-5 catalysts is significantly different at medium and low temperature. And the sample with copper nitrate as precursor obtains the best medium and low temperature activity. The NO conversion of Cu (N)/ZSM-5 reaches 91% at 190 ℃. Characterization results show that the doping of different kinds of copper salt hardly affects the structure of ZSM-5. Moreover, the copper source affects the forms of copper species and the number of acid sites obviously. Cu (N)/ZSM-5 sample possesses the largest number of isolated Cu 2+ species and moderately acidic sites. Isolated Cu 2+ is beneficial to enhance the low temperature reduction performance of the catalyst, and moderately acidic sites are favorable for the adsorption and activation of NH 3 . Therefore, the Cu (N)/ZSM-5 sample has the best medium and low temperature catalytic performance. © 2018, Editorial Office of "CHEMICAL ENGINEERING" (CHINA). All right reserved.
