Abstract：

UML　(Unified　modeling　Language)　is　a　standard　modeling　language　for　developing　software　system　based　on　object-oriented　technology.　It　also　provides　an　extension　to　define　semantics　of　specific　model　elements　in　specific　domain.　This　article　mainly　introduces　web　application　architecture,　the　importance　of　modeling　and　how　to　model　web　applications　with　UML　extension　and　proves　it　with　a　practical　JSP＇s　web　application.
