Abstract:

Quasi two-stage compression heat pump or refrigeration cycle composed by refrigerant compressor with secondary suction holes can obviously improve its compression process and the cycle performance. The secondary suction characteristics of quasi two-stage compression cycle composed by piston compressor, screw compressor, scroll compressor, rotary compressor and centrifugal compressor, respectively, and their cyclic performance were analyzed. The cyclic performance with different compressor and applicable situations were discussed.
