Abstract：

With　the　increase　of　built　long-distance　pipelines　and　other　buried　pipelines,　the　stray　current　corrosion　of　buried　pipelines　has　received　increasing　attention.　Based　on　the　references　and　documents　published　in　relevant　fields,　the　stray　current　corrosion　mechanism　is　analyzed,　its　main　causes　are　summarized,　the　characters　and　harmfulness　of　stray　current　corrosion　are　introduced,　some　examples　are　given　to　analyze　the　engineering　testing　method　and　protection　strategy　about　stray　current　corrosion.
