Abstract:

In order to solve the problem of efficacy of the test model oriented to the self-anchored suspension bridge's construction process simulation research, an under-construction self-anchored suspension bridge was taken as a prototype. A 1/20-scale model bridge was designed and manufactured.The effectiveness of the model bridge was evaluated by the finite element analysis method. Counterweight and test scheme was designed, and then, the erection line type of cable and dynamic characteristics of main tower were tested and analyzed based on the test scheme. Numerical analysis and test results show that the test results of the erection line type of cable and the dynamic parameters of the main tower coincide well with the design value, and the test model is effective. © 2016, Beijing University of Technology.
