Abstract:

This paper puts forward core-tube partial suspension structure and sets up the simplified mechanic model and theoretical formulae of the structure on the basis of the shaking table experiment of the structure. The differences of mechanic model and dynamic equations were analyzed according to the different earthquakes that include frequent, moderate and strong earthquakes. The analysis of the earthquake responses of the kind of structure was carried out by SAP2000. The computational results fit well with that of the shaking table experiment of the structure.
