Abstract:
Based on the background of metro construction in Nanjing city, a large-scale shaking table test is accomplished to model the dynamic soil-metro structure interaction with liquefiable soils included in site. During the test, the acceleration response of model site and subway station, the dynamic soil pressure of structure and the strain response of subway station are investigated. It proves that the strain responses of columns are greater than those of other components. At the same time, the strain responses of structure at the bottom of side walls are greater than those at the top of them. However, the strain responses of horizontal plates are correspondingly smaller. The frequency characteristic of inputted earthquake wave has obvious effect on the earthquake response of subway station. For the same peak value acceleration used, the earthquake response of subway station is strongest when the Nanjing artificial wave is inputted, which has the biggest frequency band among three earthquake waves used.
