Abstract:
Cable-supported lattice shell is a new kind of economic and larger spanning hybrid spatial structure system, which is consisted of single-layer spherical lattice shells and tensegrity systems with rid of cables located at the upper layer. The finite element model of the hybrid spatial structure system is built by the beam elements, truss elements and cable elements, its dynamics characteristics and the influence of some parameters are analyzed thoroughly here by the block Lanczos method, and then the computed results are compered with single-layer reticulated shell. The results are valuable for the dynamic response research on the earthquakes and wind vibration and the engineering design of the cable-supported lattice shells.
