Abstract:
To explore better the anti-seismic performance of some high voltage switchgear, sine frequency-swept wave, sine resonance beat wave and the actual-record seismic waves are applied by the shaking table on real full-size switchgear. The experimental results show that the longitudinal natural frequency of vibration is about 10.74 Hz, and that the transverse is about 2.69 Hz. Breaker and some key connecting parts with bus vibrate stronger. As the weak link, they should be paid more attention when designed. After the multiple earthquake waves with different frequency spectrum characteristics, switchgear behaves a normal function as before and the main connection components do not damage apparently. The stress values of root sections of insulator are able to satisfy the requirements of the code. ©, 2015, Xi'an High Voltage Apparatus Research Institute. All right reserved.
