Abstract:
The catalytic combustion technology in confined micro/small space has received extensive attention for its low-temperature ignition for hydrocarbon fuel and stable combustion. The catalyst is the key material for catalytic combustion and has become a research focus recently. First, constitution of the catalyst was presented. Then, advancements in catalysts for micro/small scale catalytic combustion were briefly summarized, mainly introducing the Pt/Pd monolithic catalyst with porous Al2O3, SiC foam and metal foam as matrix. The catalytic activity, ignition temperature, combustion temperature and reaction stability of these catalysts were discussed. The trend of development for low-temperature ignition and high-performance hydrocarbon combustion catalysts in future was predicted. ©, 2015, Beijing University of Technology. All right reserved.
