Effect of Laser-Textured Cu Foil with Deep Ablation on Si Anode Performance in Li-Ion Batteries SCIE

Abstract :

Si is a highly promising anode material due to its superior theoretical capacity of up to 3579 mAh/g. However, it is worth noting that Si anodes experience significant volume expansion (>300%) during charging and discharging. Due to the weak adhesion between the anode coating and the smooth Cu foil current collector, the volume-expanded Si anode easily peels off, thus damaging anode cycling performance. In the present study, a femtosecond laser with a wavelength of 515 nm is used to texture Cu foils with a hierarchical microstructure and nanostructure. The peeling and cracking phenomenon in the Si anode are successfully reduced, demonstrating that volume expansion is effectively mitigated, which is attributed to the high specific surface area of the nanostructure and the protection of the deep-ablated microgrooves. Moreover, the hierarchical structure reduces interfacial resistance to promote electron transfer. The Si anode achieves improved cycling stability and rate capability, and the influence of structural features on the aforementioned performance is studied. The Si anode on the 20 mu m-thick Cu current collector with a groove density of 75% and a depth of 15 mu m exhibits a capacity of 1182 mAh/g after 300 cycles at 1 C and shows a high-rate capacity of 684 mAh/g at 3 C.

光纤激光GH3128搭接接头高温力学性能研究

Abstract :

基于侧吹保护条件下的光纤激光非穿透深熔焊接工艺,模拟了构件的服役环境,对GH3128搭接接头进行了不同循环次数的900℃真空热处理,并对接头组织和显微硬度、室温与高温拉伸及蠕变拉伸性能进行了分析测试,通过分析组织与断口,对GH3128搭接接头的高温力学性能进行了评估.研究结果表明,与无热处理接头相比,热处理后的接头的室温与高温拉伸性能分别提升了35%和20%,蠕变性能大幅提高.接头组织分析结果表明:热处理后的接头枝状组织消熔,晶粒呈粗大等轴晶状态;各断口均呈现出"抛物线"状韧窝,开口方向与拉伸力方向一致,呈韧性断裂特征,且无显微裂纹产生;热处理次数对接头显微硬度、室温及高温拉伸性能的影响不大;随着热处理次数的增加,接头蠕变性能呈减小趋势.

碳纤维增强树脂基复合材料飞秒激光精密切割工艺研究

Abstract :

针对碳纤维增强树脂基复合材料的切割问题,采用515 nm波长飞秒激光进行切割工艺研究,分别用热影响区宽度、切缝锥角、切割表面粗糙度表征切割质量,用等效切割速度表征切割效率,研究了激光功率、扫描速度、脉冲频率对切割质量和效率的影响规律,并进行最终的工艺优化。结果表明:在激光功率20 W、扫描速度2500 mm/s、脉冲频率50 kHz的条件下,可以获得较优的切割质量与效率,得到的切缝周围热影响区宽度约2μm、切缝锥角约1.5°、切割表面粗糙度约Ra1.6μm。

深空探测卫星准直器跨尺度栅格结构的激光精密微焊接技术与装备

Abstract :

深空探测是21世纪人类进行空间技术创新、太空资源探索与利用的重要途径,准直器是深空探测器的关键部件。大深度、高空间分辨率栅格准直器的制造在国际上一直是个难题。本文以我国自主研制的硬X射线调制望远镜卫星(HXMT)中能望远镜高精度准直器为例,介绍了自主研发的大深度、高空间分辨率准直器跨尺度栅格结构的激光精密微焊接制造方法、关键工艺技术及成套装备。对于壁厚为70μm、准直孔尺寸为1.17 mm×4.68 mm、深度为67 mm的钽片跨尺度栅格结构,准直孔尺寸精度控制在SymbolqB@20μm之内。

3D-GH3536/R-GH3128异种高温合金光纤激光对接焊接工艺研究

采用光纤激光对GH3536进行了激光选区熔化(SLM)3D打印,对4 mm厚轧制固溶态GH3128(R-GH3128)平板进行了对接焊接研究.利用光学显微镜(OM)、扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、电子背散射衍射(EBSD)、X射线能谱分析仪(EDS)、显微硬度仪及拉伸试验机对焊缝成形、显微组织、显微硬度、接头强度及断口形貌进行了分析.结果表明,3D-GH3536/R-GH3128的焊缝组织主要为柱状晶和等轴晶,焊缝内直径小于50μm的晶粒数量占比为62.2%.显微硬度测试结果表明,焊缝的平均显微硬度值为286 HV.拉伸试验结果表明,接头上下部分的抗拉强度基本一致,约为3D-GH3536母材的93%,断裂方式为韧性断裂.

采用6 kW多模光纤激光器进行了Ta-10W难熔合金的光纤激光焊接工艺研究。利用高速摄像机、光学显微镜、扫描电镜、显微硬度仪及拉伸试验机对焊缝成形、熔池形态、飞溅物形态、显微组织、显微硬度、接头强度及断口形貌进行分析。研究结果表明,在焦点位于板材表面且焦点直径为0.3 mm的聚焦参数下,当焊接速度为2~3 m/min,激光功率为1.5~2.0 kW时,焊接模式由热导焊转变为深熔焊。Ta-10W深熔焊时焊缝成形良好,焊接飞溅大且飞溅物不易附着于板材,焊缝呈钉头形。3 mm厚对接接头的焊缝组织主要为柱状晶,在焊缝靠上的位置,主要为垂直于板厚方向的细长晶粒;在焊缝中部与下部,形成的则是细等轴晶粒。拉...

Abstract :

Femtosecond laser has been widely utilized for modification of crystal structure to achieve desired functions. So far, however, the effect of crystallographic orientation on the induced structure by femtosecond laser processing has yet been comprehensively studied. The present work is undertaken in an attempt to fill this gap in our knowledge. To this end, commercial-purity Si is used as a target material and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy as well as electron backscatter diffraction are applied to examine the irradiation-induced microstructural changes. The structural response of the pulsed material is found to be principally influenced by the crystallographic orientation of the target surface. Specifically, at the surface orientation close to {111}, a pronounced amorphization effect is observed whereas no disordered material is detected at the orientations close to {100}. This phenomenon could be explained by the lowest crystallization speed required by the (111) surface due to its smallest surface energy. Compared with nanosecond laser, non-thermal melting induced by femtosecond laser induces mild thermal gradient and favors recrystallization.

Abstract :

Industrial application of copper often requires a joining. Unfortunately, a commercial laser welding of this material is challenging due to extremely high reflectivity of copper at the near-infrared wavelength. In this work, the sound copper joints were produced at relatively high welding speed of 15 m/min by using a pressure-assisted fiber-laser welding. It was theoretically shown that the material melting arisen from a convergence of multiple reflections of the laser beam. By using electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD), it was found that microstructural changes were induced by a laser-induced thermal effect as well as a roller-induced pressure. It was deduced that the molten material solidified before feeding to the pressure rolls and thus it experienced a notable plastic strain during the welding process. The present work provides an effective method for commercial joining of high-reflective metals by using the near-infrared fiber laser.

Abstract :

Although laser welded Al?Li alloys show great potential for application in aerospace industry, the detailed relationship between local hardness and complex microstructure remained unclear. In the present study, relationship between precipitation behavior and local hardness in a defect-free laser pressure weld of Al?Li alloy 2198 was systematically examined by transmission electron microscopy. Hardness profile of the laser pressure weld was reduced in the vicinity of the weld center, mainly explained by size and density of the strengthening precipitates. Moreover, post-weld aging increased the density of strengthening precipitates in the precipitate dissolved regions, increasing their hardness values markedly. On the other hand, a few precipitates were formed in the precipitate-coarsened regions during post-weld aging, which slightly increased the local hardness. The variation in hardness during post-weld aging could be well correlated with the precipitation behavior in each region of the laser pressure weld.
