Abstract :

作为一类新型多孔材料,金属有机骨架(MOFs)常被开发作为荧光传感器用来监测水中的污染物,开发稳定且易制备的MOFs材料实现选择性检测有毒的Fe~(3+)仍具有较高挑战。本工作中,我们报道一例水稳定的二重穿插In基MOF:(NH_2Me_2)[In(fdc)_2]·2H_2O(BUT-205,BUT代表北京工业大学,H_2fdc=呋喃-2,5-二羧酸)。BUT-205的构筑采用生物质衍生配体,其结构通过单晶X射线衍射确立。这个材料可作为高效的水相Fe~(3+)离子传感器,具有高的灵敏度和选择性。检测限达到1.3μmol·L~(-1),低于美国环保局规定的饮用水中安全标准(15.7μmol·L~...

Efficient determination of BTX compounds based on UiO-66-diatomite composite enrichment and thermal desorption GC-MS SCIE

Abstract :

In this work, a UiO-66-diatomite composite was synthesized and used as sorbent to sample benzene, toluene and xylene (BTX) in indoor air. The physicochemical features of the as-prepared composite were deeply characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), thermo-gravimetric analysis (TGA) and nitrogen adsorption-desorption isotherm analysis. Moreover, an efficient analysis method for the enriched BTX compounds by the UiO-66-diatomite composite was successfully developed using thermal desorption (TD)GC-MS technique. The influence of desorption temperature was investigated to optimize the operation conditions. Under the desorption temperature of 180 ?, the method depicted good linearity (R-2 > 0.99) in the range of 5 ng to 1000 ng as well as excellent reproducibility with relative standard deviation (RSD) between 0.6% and 3.5%, in which the satisfactory recovery was achieved from 75.2% to 115%. More importantly, the developed method also exhibited high sensitivity with the method detection limit (MDL) in the range of 0.04-0.09 mu gm(-3). Hence, the findings evidence that this method might be one of the promising routes to detect trace levels of BTX compounds in indoor air and the MOF-based composite is feasible to be used as sorbent for the capture of volatile organic compounds in air.

Molecularly Homogenized Composite Membranes Containing Solvent-Soluble Metallocavitands for CO2/CH4 Separation SCIE

Abstract :

The rational design of mixed matrix membranes (MMMs) combining appropriate additives and industrial process-able polymers offers a new prospect for highly efficient membrane separations. However, the difficulty in their fabrication due to the lack of processability of most additives and the formation of segregated filler domains in polymer matrices hampers the development and application of MMMs. Herein, we present two new zirconocene-based metallocavitands (ZRA and ZRT) and a series of MMMs fabricated by blending ZRA, ZRT, and MOC-1-NH2 (a zirconocene-based metal-organic cage) with the polyimide (6FDA-DAM), respectively. It was found that ZRA exhibited high thermal stability and good solubility in various solvents, which can be homogeneously mixed with polymers to prepare ZRA-based MMMs without any indication of filler agglomeration. Compared to the pure 6FDA-DAM membrane, a low ZRA-loading MMM (ZRA-2.2%) exhibited better mechanical properties and 50% improved CO2 permeability for CO2/CH4 separation. ZRA-2.2% also exhibited a good performance after 6 months of aging and significantly alleviated the plasticization effect under high pressures. These results suggest the great potential of the ZRA-2.2% for CO2/CH4 separation and that the simple metallocavitands may serve as promising additives in fabricating MMMs for gas separations.

CO_2的资源化转化与利用是“双碳”目标达成的重要途径之一.金属-有机框架(metal-organic framework, MOF)因其充足的孔结构、丰富的活性位和可功能化等特性,在CO_2催化还原反应中展现出良好的应用前景.总结了基于MOF的新型功能材料依托光、电清洁能源,绿色催化CO_2还原的最新研究进展,分别探讨了活性MOF、MOF复合物和MOF衍生物的催化性能,并从理化特性上分析了材料性能优势的成因.在此基础上,对这类新型催化剂面临的主要问题和未来发展做出了总结与展望.

In this study, UiO-66 was selected as sorbent media packed in the tube to selectively enrich trace levels of benzene homologues such as benzene, toluene, and xylene (BTX) in ambient air prior to thermal desorption (TD)-GC-MS determination. A series of experiments were conducted to obtain the optimal TD conditions. The results indicated that the optimal TD parameters were as follows: desorption temperature of 180 degrees C, desorption flow rate of 50 mL min(-1), and desorption time of 30 min. Furthermore, the method based on UiO-66 enrichment integrated with TD-GC-MS for trace levels of BTX was successfully developed. It exhibited a good linearity (R-2 > 0.99) in the range of 50-1000 ng, except for p, m-xylene in the range of 100-2000 ng, and achieved the recovery of 69.4-101.3%, and the relative standard deviation of 3.8-6.4%. The detection limits of BTX were 1.6-4.0 ng; according to 10 L of sampling volume, the method detection limits would be in the range of 0.16-0.40 mu g m(-3). Additionally, the method was successfully applied to determine BTX in indoor air and showed good selectivity and sensitivity. In summary, the findings in this work revealed that UiO-66 was an attractive adsorbent for selective enrichment trace levels of BTX compounds in ambient air, which was favorable for the subsequent detection by TD-GC-MS.

Effective Removal of Clenbuterol and Ractopamine from Water with a Stable Al(III)-Based Metal-Organic Framework. PubMed

Abstract :

Clenbuterol (CLE) and ractopamine (RAC) are two kinds of typical β2-adrenergic agonists which pose a serious threat to the health of human beings. In this work, 10 kinds of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) with high stability and various pore features are screened to assess adsorption performance for CLE and RAC. An Al(III)-MOF (BUT-19) with abundant ethyl groups exhibits exceptional performance in removing CLE and RAC from water. The maximum adsorption capacity for CLE and RAC are up to 294.1 and 366.3 mg/g under the optimum adsorption conditions, respectively. Meanwhile, the adsorption mechanism effects of pH, temperature, and coexisted ions are investigated systematically. It is found that the MOF pore size and weak hydrogen-bond interactions between CLE/RAC molecules and the MOF are the main causes leading to the extraordinary adsorption. This study provides a new idea for the purposeful design and synthesis of MOFs for removing environmental pollutants and sheds light on the depuration of contaminated water.
