We consider the Cauchy problem for the nonlinear Schrodinger equation i partial derivative(t)u + Delta u = lambda(0)u + lambda(1)vertical bar u vertical bar(alpha) u in R-N, where lambda(0), lambda(1) is an element of C, in H-S subcritical and critical case: 0 < alpha <= 4/N-2s when 1 = N/2. We show that the solution depends continuously on the initial value in the standard sense in H-s(R-N) if alpha satisfies certain assumptions. (c) 2013 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
