Abstract：
基于schema的查询优化是一种语义优化策略，通过对xmlschema的预处理，来实现xpath路径的优化，或xquery查询时冗余分支的减少，从而达到优化目的。目前主要有以下几类的优化方式：（1）利用区间编码建立schema索引；（2）利用sc．hema简化小枝匹配，从而优化xquery；（3）建立等价路径图，缩短路径长度和直接判断路径是否满足。
