The algorithm proposed in [Z. Wang, D. Du, A.F. Gabor, D. Xu, An approximation algorithm for the k-level stochastic facility location problem, Operations Research Letters 38 (2010) 386-389] does not achieve an approximation guarantee of 3 as claimed in Theorem 3.2.
