Abstract：
A series of chiral C-2-symmetrical macrocycles containing two alpha-amino acids and two biaryl subunits have been designed and synthesized in moderate yields (36-53%). The absolute configurations of biaryl motifs in these chiral macrocycles were established by X-ray crystal structure analysis and CD measurements.
