Abstract:
xPb(Mn1/3Nb2/3)O-3-(0.2-x)Pb(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O-3-0.8Pb(Zr0.52Ti0.48)O-3 (x=0-0.20) quaternary fine ceramics (PZMN-PZT) were prepared by the columbite two-step process and the effects of composition on the microstructure and piezoelectric properties were investigated. The results revealed that the ceramics were sintered densified in the range 1 250degreesC to 1300degreesC, and the lattice structure of the system was transformed from the tetragonal to the pseudocubic with the increasing of Pb(Mn1/3Nb2/3)O-3 content. The optimized results that is, Q(m)=2528, k(p)=0.55, tandelta=0.003, epsilon(33)(T)/epsilon(0)= 1150, T-c=325degreesC, were obtained at x=0.1, which can be used as high power piezoelectric transformer materials.
