Abstract:
In this paper, a new method about two dimension direction of arrival (2D DOA) estimation is proposed for the mixture of circular signals and non-circular signals based on uniform rectangular array(URA).This proposed method combines unitary estimation of signal parameters via rotational invariant technique(Unitary ESPRIT) algorithm with a technology called joint diagonalization(JD), which aims at solving the problem of angle mergence and angle matching. We establish a new observed data matrix fully exploiting the second order-noncircular (SO-NC) property of mixed signals and convert complex operations into real-valued operations by Unitary ESPRIT algorithm. And we are able to successfully distinguish mixed angles through JD when mixed signals has the same angles in one dimension, which can also acquire automatically angles. The simulation results show the effectiveness of our proposed method.
