Abstract:
Acid Red B, a typical azo dye, was used as the target pollutant to study the degradation of dye wastewater by nanoscale Fe-0. The results showed that nanoscale Fe-0 was much more effective than the common Fe-0 for acid red B removal. The removal rate of acid red B increased with the increase of temperature, nanoscale Fe-0 dosage and rotating rate, but decreased with the increase of the initial pH value and the initial concentration of acid red B. However, the total quantity of acid red B removed increased with the increase of the initial concentration.
