Abstract:
The badminton gymnasium of Beijing University of Technology is one of the newly built gymnasiums for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. According to the design requirement, the air velocity of 9m above the playing field should be less than 0.2m/s. In order to meet the design requirement, this paper uses the methods of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) technology and test to optimize the original design, and puts forward an implementary scheme. The results of the final acceptance show that the air velocity in the playing field is less than 0.2m/s, which meets the design requirement.
