Abstract:

The groundwater source heat pump (GWSHP) system is a complex and multi-links system. Many factors affect its design and operation. This paper introduces two aspects: geological reconnaissance and design, and air-conditioning system design, combining with several actual projects in Beijing. Some problems appearing in design and applicability were discussed, involving hydrogeology condition, design of heat source wells, formation of groundwater injection, air-conditioning system formation and load characteristic. Based on the applicability and hydrogeology condition for GWSHP system, three kinds of system applicability area are presented. In addition, the GWSHP system is roughly divided into two formations, centralized system and decentralized system. The paper supplies references to the designers and users of the system.
