Abstract：
In this paper, we shall first introduce the definition of modified D-P metric for fuzzy set-valued random variables, which can build a complete metric space for fuzzy set-valued random variables. With the use of modified D-P metric, we shall define the variance and covariance of fuzzy set-valued random variables and show their application on statistical estimation.
