Abstract:

In order to study the longitudinal elastic response characteristics of super-high pier continuous girder bridges connected with tunnels, the model of seismic analysis is established by taking a three-span continuous girder bridge connected with tunnels in a mountainous area as an example. Moreover, it is compared with the longitudinal elastic response of conventional continuous girder bridge. The influence factors such as site type, pier height and expansion joint gap of super-high pier continuous girder bridges are analyzed. The shock absorption effect of rubber buffer device at the expansion joint is also discussed. The results show that the impact of the collision on super-high pier continuous girder bridge connected with tunnel is more significant compared the super-high pier continuous girder bridge with approach bridge. With the increase of the height of pier, the bending moment responses of fixed piers of super high-pier continuous girder bridges connected with tunnel appear multiple extreme points along pier body. The maximum shear response may appear on the top of pier. Site type and expansion joints gap have a great influence on them. Increasing the friction factor of movable support has little effect on the internal force response at the bottom of pier of super-high pier continuous beam bridge, but it is possible to increase the shear response and impact force response at the top of pier. Rubber buffer device could significantly reduce the seismic response of continuous girder bridges connected with tunnels. © 2020, Nanjing Univ. of Aeronautics an Astronautics. All right reserved.
