Abstract:
In view of the inaccuracy of the traditional leakage location method caused by the interaction between the leakage noises at leakage points, a multi-leakage point location algorithm based on iterative recursion was developed. The influences of the threshold signal to noise ratio and the iteration termination condition on the performance of the algorithm were analysed, and the input parameters were optimized. The experiments results prove that the algorithm can be used to estimate the number and position of leakage points in a pipeline, with an error less than 1 m. The study provides a feasible solution for the detection and location of multiple leakage points in practical engineering pipelines. © 2020, Editorial Office of Journal of Vibration and Shock.
