Abstract:
In order to explore the influence law of Fourier phase spectrum and amplitude spectrum on seismic responses of different structural forms, a series of artificial earthquakes with different phase spectra and amplitude spectra were constructed. Using SAP2000 finite element software, the seismic and isolation structural models were built respectively, and the elastic and elastoplastic time history analysis of the structure was carried out. The results show that the change of Fourier spectrum in both elastic stage and elastic-plastic stage has great influence on the structural response, and the dispersion of structural seismic response in elastic-plastic stage is greater than that in elastic stage. For seismic structures and isolated structures, with the increase of magnitude and site conditions from Class I to Class III, the dispersion of structural seismic response shows an increasing trend. Therefore, the influence of Fourier spectrum should be paid attention to in the analysis of structural seismic response, and the input ground motion should be selected on the basis of fully considering the characteristics of amplitude spectrum and phase spectrum. © 2022, Editorial Department of Journal of Wuhan University of Technology.
