Abstract:
This research examines the PPP time transfer outcomes under various cut-off elevation angles in an effort to increase the precision and stability of PPP time transfer. To determine the local receiver clock error, PPP processing is first performed on the combined observation of the undifferenced dual-frequency ionosphere-free pseudorange and carrier phase at BRUX, PTBB, USN7 and other stations using the precise products of Wuhan University. Then subtract the receiver clock error between the two locations in the IMEJ-PTBB, OP71-BRUX and other links to complete the time transfer. Finally, the Modified Allan Deviation and Time Deviation is adopted to evaluate the stability of the time transfer. Experiments show that the time transfer results and stability of high cut-off elevation angle are also good, which can reduce the dependence on the environment. The effects of the multipath effect is somewhat less as the cut-off elevation angle is increased. The cut-off elevation angle is typically set as low as possible in practical situations to maximize the use of observation data. The study's findings offered an invaluable guide for choosing the cut-off elevation angle for PPP time transfer. © 2022 IET Conference Proceedings.
