Abstract:

High-temperature phase change materials (PCMs) have broad application prospects in areas such as power peak shaving, waste heat recycling, and solar thermal power generation. They address the need for clean energy and improved energy efficiency, which complies with the global “carbon peak” and “carbon neutral” strategy requirements. This study provides an overview of the definition, standards, packaging process, and current state of high-temperature composite PCMs based on their significant energy application potential, economic value, and environmental value process. Finally, the future development of high-temperature composite PCMs is summarized and prospected. © 2023 Elsevier Ltd
