Abstract:
Compared with the traditional method, 3D visualization of seismic data can reveal seismic information better, but it has the deficiencies of incorrect tessellation during tessellating. To solve the incorrect tessellation problem, a new low dip correlate adaption tessellation method is proposed. First, find out the seismic sample point in the next trace which has the largest relevancy to the current one in pixel shader; then, map its relative offset in time direction as the dip style of the current point and render it to texture, and when filling vertices indices, consider the dip style of the points adjoin to the current one roundly to realize the low dip correlate adaption tessellation of the vertices. Experimental result proves the effectiveness of the proposed method. © 2023 Inst. of Scientific and Technical Information of China. All rights reserved.
