Abstract:

SO2 and NOx are the main air pollutants in cement kiln exhaust gas, and reducing their emissions has become the main way to control air pollution.This work attempts to prepare composite absorbent by using agricultural waste slag rice husk ash and industrial waste slag carbide slag, in the formation process of cement clinker to achieve desulfurization and denitrification. The impacts of rice husk ash and carbide slag ratio (2: 5-18: 5), reaction temperature (500-900) and oxygen concentration (0%-3%) on the desulfurization and denitrification efficiency of composite absorbent were studied. The results showed that the ratio of rice husk ash and carbide slag was 6: 5, which was incorporated into the cement raw meal under 900 and 1% oxygen concentration, the denitrification rate reached 97% and the desulfurization rate was 99%. The use of two kinds of waste slag, rice husk ash and carbide slag, to prepare a composite absorbent could effectively remove SO2 and NOx in a cement decomposition furnace. © 2018, Materials Review Magazine.
