Abstract:

In order to enhance the heat-transfer effect of the thermal management system of power battery, a novel liquid cooled battery module is developed. Based on the test results of maximum heating power of single cell, an experiment platform for the cooling /heating system of the novel liquid cooled power battery module is built. The experiment platform, consisting of liquid supply system, cooling system, heating system, signal measurement and data processing system and battery management system etc., can conduct experiments on the heat-transfer characteristics of the liquid cooled battery module, providing theoretical basis and technical support for the subsequent development of battery thermal management system. © 2018, Society of Automotive Engineers of China.
