Abstract:

Agriculture is seeking a modern transformation to meet the demands of efficient and sustainable production. The integration of new technologies is crucial in this endeavor. Digital Twin (DT) and Generative Artifcual Intelligence (AI) have emerged as promising technologies in various industries. However, their potential in the agricultural sector remains relatively unexplored. This paper aims to bridge this research gap by examining the current studies and potential applications of DT and Generative AI in agriculture. We investigate the synergies between these technologies and their opportunities and challenges in agricultural practices. This research sheds light on the integration of DT and Generatiev AI in agriculture, paving the way for future advancements in the field. © 2023 IEEE.
