Abstract:

Municipal solid waste incineration (MSWI) has become the main method of current municipal solid waste disposal because of its advantages in resource utilization, harmlessness, and reduction. The research on the control method of MSWI process is of great significance to improve the intelligence and operating efficiency of MSWI power plants, and to promote the recycling of municipal solid waste resources. First, we briefly introduce the typical MSWI process and summarized the main control requirements. Then, the relevant control methods are summarized, and their applicability and development status are analyzed. Moreover, the main problems and difficulties in the current MSWI process control are summarized, and they are refined as a class intelligent control problem based on multi-source and multi-mode. Finally, the future research directions and prospects of MSWI process control methods are given out. © 2021 Technical Committee on Control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.
