Abstract:

Regional urban networks are increasingly interconnected due to the continuous flow of traffic, so it is of great significance to establish a reasonable node importance evaluation method in static road network topology. Firstly, this paper proposes to consider the traffic characteristic parameter index, selected six indexes which encircled by node degree, node betweenness, clustering coefficient, road width, traffic flow, and delay. The evaluation indicator system of topological characteristics of the urban road network is constructed. Secondly, based on the grey relation analysis method, the paper analyzed the relational grade of the road network area under the influence of the index weighting and established the evaluation method of the node importance of the road network in the urban area. Finally, the importance of the regional road network is calculated. The introduction of the road network operation index is helpful to the analysis of the topological characteristics of the urban road network and makes it more scientific and accurate to extract roads with a high relational grade in the region, so that traffic managers can take more targeted traffic management measures, which plays an important role in improving the reliability of the road network. © 2020 ASCE.
