Abstract:
To avoid cracks or collapse to precast concrete segments in water transmission lines due to external environment or construction quality defects, large-diameter lined steel tiles are required for reinforcement. A lined steel tile transport and adjustment integrated machine is designed and manufactured to address technical construction problems such as tight space between lined steel tile and inner tunnel wall, eccentric structure of steel tile in long-distance transportation, and high assembly accuracy requirement. Next, structural design and systematic analyses are conducted on the clamping structure, transportation correction system, and assembly and docking of the steel tiles, and optimal schemes are proposed. Finally, the strength of the transport and adjustment integrated machine is examined by finite element analysis. The results of the analysis reveal the following: (1) The structural design is reasonable, the strength is stable, and the functions of the machine meet relevant requirements of site construction, which can provide a technical scheme for the long-distance transportation, assembling, and docking construction of large-diameter lined steel tiles in tunnels. (2) The machine improves the transportation efficiency, assembly and docking accuracy of lined steel tiles, and reduces the cost and construction difficulty. © 2022 Authors. All rights reserved.
